Important Update: Action Needed for Apple IDs Using District Email

Please be aware that if you have created an Apple ID using our district domain β@passaicschools.org,β in the past, you will soon receive an email notification from Apple regarding changes to your account.
This email will present you with two options:
Choose a new primary email address to continue using your Apple ID as a personal account.
Transfer your Apple ID and its data, converting it into a Managed Apple Account governed by Passaic Public Schools.
Benefits of a Managed Apple ID in Education: By transferring to a Managed Apple ID, you gain access to:
200GB of free iCloud storage for your work files and educational resources.
Seamless integration with school devices and tools, ensuring apps, configurations, and resources are easily accessible.
Enhanced security and data protection.
Use of Single Sign-on allowing you to use your district credentials (username and password) to securely and easily access your Managed Apple Account.
Please note: You have 30 days to select one of these options. If no action is taken within this period, your Apple ID associated with β@passaicschools.orgβ will be automatically converted to a personal account and assigned a new account name by Apple.
