Dear PPS Staff,
We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially partnered with ClassDojo to further build close-knit communities in Passaic Public Schools! We know that many of you are former users of ClassDojo and we’re excited to support you and partner directly with ClassDojo across the district.
There are many reasons why we’ve chosen ClassDojo as the tool of choice for our schools:
The emphasis on positive two-way dialogue with families
The ability to use ClassDojo to reach all families, with instant two-way translations into 100+ languages
The ability to engage with families in a variety of ways: stories, events, messaging
The focus on improving student motivation with a positive points system
How will ClassDojo be rolled out at Passaic Public Schools?
We know that mid-year is a busy time for roll-outs but we know that many of you are eager to get started with ClassDojo! We’ve structured a series of communications and professional development to ensure that you, your staff, and our community is well informed.

What are my next steps as a teacher
By February 14th - Reach out to your school leader if you are interested in being a campus champion or helping to train and guide fellow teachers with ClassDojo!
Please wait to set up your accounts until after school leaders have been trained on February 10th and make sure that you coordinate with your school leader about setting up accounts, sending parent invites, etc.
Note that you must use your Passaic Schools account to access ClassDojo. If you have a ClassDojo account with another email address, please discontinue use immediately.
