Welcome back for the 2025–26 school year. We’re excited to share that your school’s ClassDojo will be ROSTERED.
Your Action Steps:
Create your ClassDojo account: http://teach.classdojo.com
Connect Families: Make sure that you have a plan to send a connection invite to ALL current and new families via ClassDojo by student return.
On August 22
Students will be automatically added in your school’s ClassDojo directory.
Teachers and staff will no longer be able to create new students or remove them manually in ClassDojo. If changes need to be made, please contact your SIS administrator.
Teachers can still update student names within ClassDojo, even if they were imported from the SIS with a different name.
Classes will be automatically set up for teachers
You can create additional classes as needed (e.g., afterschool clubs, intervention groups, etc.)
If you need to add a student to a class, you can still add students from the School Directory.
You can archive rostered classes if you don’t plan to use them on ClassDojo or rename them.
For example, for Elementary schools that might have multiple classes with rostered students, you can archive all but one and rename it.
If incorrect students are listed in your class, you can still remove them from your class. However, we recommend informing your SIS administrator so they can correct this information within the SIS as well.
What’s coming next:
Students added into their classrooms by end-of-day on September 3
Family Invites: Family invites will be emailed to parents who don’t already have an account on September 3. However, because some families don’t check emails or family data may be stale or not in the SIS, please plan to connect families manually if needed.
