Please read below for the most recent updates from Classwize.
1 - Student Screens Update
We’ve introduced several improvements to make troubleshooting easier and give Classwize users greater visibility into what students are accessing during class. These updates are highlighted in the overview video and summarized below.
One-click troubleshooting: If a student’s screen isn’t displayed in Classwize, teachers will be able to initiate a retry with the click of a button. When they run into trouble, simple troubleshooting steps will be displayed directly in the user interface, saving time and getting learning back on track more quickly.
More granular information about student activity: In some cases, Classwize cannot display a student’s screen on Chromebooks due to Chrome permission settings (previously shown as a “No screenshot available” message on the student tile). We’ve improved the messaging in Classwize so the interface now explains why the screen may not be visible while still confirming that the student is online and manageable. This provides greater clarity and helps teachers understand what their students may be viewing.
2 - Combined classes can be scheduled
For any synced classes that have been combined, teachers can now use the calendar icon in the lower-right corner of the class tile to create a schedule. This allows the class to automatically start and end based on the selected schedule.
All this information and more is also available in the Classwize Academy!
