Hello,
The Division of IT is forming the Early Adopter Club, a group of about 20 to 25 staff from across the district who get a first look at new technology before it rolls out to everyone. We’re inviting you to join.
Why we’re doing this
Before we deploy new tools, updates, or changes district-wide, we want real feedback from the people who use technology every day. Your experience will help us catch problems early and make better decisions for all staff.
What you can expect as a member
Advanced notice for every test. You’ll get an email before you’re included in any test. It will explain what we’re testing, how long it will run, and what to expect.
Your voice matters. We’ll occasionally ask for your feedback when a test wraps up.
A direct line to IT. You’ll be added to a Microsoft Teams group chat where you can ask questions and discuss any test with members of the Division of IT.
Occasional short meetings. If we need direct feedback, we may ask for about 15 minutes of your time in a Teams meeting.
First access. You’ll see new tools, updates, and changes before the rest of the district, and you’ll see how your feedback shaped the final rollout.
SGO Domain 4: Your involvement can generate meaningful artifacts and evidence supporting multiple components when completing the Domain 4 review: particularly professional learning (4e), collaboration (4d), and service to the school community(4d).
What we’re asking of you
Be willing to try new things and tell us honestly what works and what doesn’t. No technical expertise is required, but a little comfort with technology is always welcome. We want feedback from every role across the district.
