Option 1: Parents reset their own passwords

Option 2: Parent liaisons reset the password for the parent

  1. Log in to PowerSchool Administrator
  2. Search for the student in PowerSchool and click on the student
  3. On the left sidebar menu, click Contacts
  4. Click the name of the contact who is requesting a reset
  5. Scroll down until you see the Web Account Access section 
  6. Click Edit Account
  7. Make note of the Username to send to the parent - usually this should match the Account Email
    Type a New Password for the parents
    Type it again in the Confirm Password field
    Also make note of the Account Email to send to the parent

    Please note, for security reasons, parents will be required to make a new password. The one you are setting here is temporary.

    Password Requirements - A new password must have a minimum of 8 characters.
