This iPad has been automatically locked because it hasn't checked in with district device management for an extended period.

Why this happened

All district-issued iPads are required to check in periodically with our device management system. This keeps the device secured, up to date, and confirmed as account for.

When a device goes too long without checking in, it's automatically restricted as a precaution, this proects district data if the device has been lost, misplaced or taken off the school network for an extended period. This is not a sign the device is broken, and it isn't specific to anything you did.

What to do

  1. Bring this iPad to the Division of Information Technology.
  2. A technician will verify the device and reconnect it to district management.
  3. Once reactivated, the device will unlock and can be returned to normal use.
